On 12 Nov., "Singing Napkin" will be screened in Rome. After the screening the film’s director Mariusz Grzegorzek will meet the audience. The event has been organized by the Polish Institute in Rome.

"Singing Napkin", an acting students’ diploma film directed by Mariusz Grzegorzek will be screened in the New Polish Cinema section “Nuovo Cinema Polacco” within CIAK Polska Film Festival which is organized by the Polish Institute in Rome designated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (like all other Polish Institutes abroad) to spread Polish culture in Italy. The screening of "Singing Napkin" will take place on 12 November at 5 p.m. at Casa del Cinema a Villa Borgese. The screening will be followed by a meeting with the film’s director.

The audience in Rome will see four short films of various stylistics which contribute to the “Singing Napkin” project: „KAZAN” about a painful process of initiation; "NARKOLOVESTORY" about drug addiction and love which helps to face the addiction; "PANCAKES (with SUGAR)" about the difficulty of parenthood under pressures of everyday life; and "SINGING NAPKIN” about the power of love – a poetic and visual adaptation of a Greek tale with a surreal dance inspired by Bollywood films in the grand finale. All these intertwined by fragments of audition of the students for the film which is not only their diploma project but also a ticket to the future career.
