Marta Nieradkiewicz wins Cybulski Prize.

Our acting graduate, Marta Nieradkiewicz, has been awarded the Prize for "young actors with outstanding stage personality".

The jury granting the Prize consisted of: Jerzy Stuhr (chairman), chief editor of "Kino" Andrzej Kołodyński, film directors Monika Strzępka and Małgorzata Szumowska, and Magdalena Popławska (Cybulski Prize winner). Winning the Prize Marta got appreciated for the roles in the films: "Kamper" by Łukasz Grzegorzek and "Zjednoczone stany miłości" by Tomasz Wasilewski.

Other nominees for the prize were: Julia Kijowska ( "Zjednoczone stany miłości"), Dawid Ogrodnik ("Ostatnia rodzina”), Filip Pławiak ("Czerwony pająk") and Piotr Żurawski ("Kamper"). The jury verdict reads: "Marta has an amazing ability to transform herself using very subtle means. She is a versatile, charming actress with great potential and strong screen personality which is very promising for the future".

The Prize named after Zbigniew Cybulski has been awarded since 1969. The first winner of the Prize was Daniel Olbrychski. Over the years it was granted to such actors as: Olgierd Łukaszewicz, Maja Komorowska, Krystyna Janda, Marek Kondrat, Krzysztof Majchrzak, Adrianna Biedrzyńska, Zbigniew Zamachowski, Artur Żmijewski, Dorota Segda, Marcin Dorociński, Kinga Preis, Sonia Bohosiewicz, Maciej Stuhr, Eryk Lubos and Agnieszka Żulewska.
