We will be celebrating on 5th and 6th October. See the program.
The great birthday ahead! On the 5th October at 12.00, we will inaugurate the 70th academic year in the school’s history, 1948-2018: Higher Film School, State Higher Film School, State Higher Theatre and Film School named after Leon Schiller, and finally – State Higher Film, Television and Theatre School named after Leon Schiller. Not only the school’s name has changed but also the world around, politics, atmosphere and the mood. But the school policy and its site in Targowa Street remained unchanged. Film and Theatre are still in the centre of our attention. Every day, on film sets or on the stage, we put together in films and plays all this which is buzzing in the heads and hearts of our directors, cinematographers, actors, photography artists, animators, editors, screenwriters and production managers; all these stories which keep them awake late at night. TOGETHER already for 70 years! The number of films, People and emotions in this time – countless and unique.
The Birthday! It is a perfect opportunity to recall film stories, (and not only), to meet the People we haven’t seen for a long time and to make TOGETHER plans for the future.
The Birthday which involves All of us - graduates, professors, administrative staff and students – like a birthday in the FAMILY! Come round, come back to School.
