We invite you to UKRAINIAN DAY! SATURDAY / 9 APRIL / 12:00 – 19:00 / FREE ADMISSION!

Students from Ukraine, our Ukrainian graduates and newly admitted interns – they all are important members of the Lodz Film School community, and the School is their family and their home.

For years, students and lecturers have been following the events in Ukraine with their cameras, cooperating with Ukrainian filmmakers, and carrying out joint projects.

Let's meet and be together on this day!

The programme includes screening of student documentaries devoted to the struggle of young people in Maidan Square and Donbas and the situation of Tatars in Crimea. In addition, presentation of a poetic short film, a surreal dream and anti-war animation. We would also like to invite you to a concert WE WILL NOT BE SEPARATED performed by the 2nd year students of the Acting Department, and to a meeting with the filmmakers of a documentary film KIEDY TEN WIATR USTANIE (WHEN THIS WIND STOPS), its director, Aniela Gabryel and cinematographer, Oleksander Pozdnyakov, graduates and doctoral students of the Film School in Łódź.
