Looking for Shelter - this is the title of this year's New Horizons Shortlist which includes 20 films; 7 of them are student films from our school!
The 21st New Horizons International Film Festival will be held from 21, July to 31, July in Wrocław (online until 3, August).
The shortlist reflects a selection of new Polish short films that are closest to the idea of the festival. The programme includes films by authors who through the short film form boldly emphasize their voice and sensitivity, searching for their own language of film narrative free from the conventions of the profession.
“We all go to the cinema sometimes to pull through smaller or larger ends of the world. This year's Shortlist proves that you can also achieve this goal when you treat the viewer seriously, without offering them easy escapism, ” writes Piotr Czerkawski, section curator.
