The first edition of the World Pictures - "Bad Boys, Bad Girls" - joint workshops of the Kazimierz Dejmek Nowy Theatre in Łódź and the Lodz Film School is finished. Our acting students spent a week in the creative laboratory of the Nowy Theatre. Under the supervision of directors - Ewa Galica (Theatre Academy in Warsaw), Mira Mańka (Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow) and Anna Obszańska (AST) they analyzed the debut works of artists associated with our school - Witold Leszczyński: "Żywot Mateusza", Marcel Łoziński: "Na skrzydłach", Barbara Sass: "Bez miłości" and Wojciech Smarzowski: "Małżowina".

The workshop ending was held in three spaces of the Theatre: the foyer, the paint shop and the Theatre Small Stage. The audience watched the results of the work of our Acting Department students: Jakub Cempla-Santarosa, Wiktor Dębski, Jakub Gąsior, Dorota Goliasz, Jakub Kondrat, Konrad Krupiński, Wiktoria Kruszczyńska, Julia Mika, Aleksandra Piotrowska, Małgorzata Polak, Olga Rajska, Zofia Stafiej, Wiktoria Supryn, Maciej Walter, Jakub Winnicki, Antoni Włosowicz. The workshop was supervised by the Dean of the Acting Department, Piotr Seweryński.

The workshops are part of the "Nowy and the Young" project, launched by the director of the Theatre Dorota Ignatjew in spring 2021; the curator of the project is Remigiusz Brzyk. The project, addressed to students and young graduates of theatre schools, aims to help them master their artistic skills and develop their creative and professional potential through creative tutelage, enabling a creative exchange of skills and experiences, as well as creating a space for shaping their artistic personality to embark on their individual professional careers.
