Olga Kłyszewicz, Karolina Kowalska and Maciej Jankowski are graduates of the Lodz Film School and nominees for the OARS OF CULTURE in the debutant category. Deadline for voting: 14, May

OARS OF CULTURE is an award of "Gazeta Wyborcza" and Monopolis in Łódź, one of the goals of which is to promote young and local artists. Those who let Lodz (Boat) sail out into the open waters.

This year's awards gala will take place at Monopolis on 31, May 31.

Among the nominees in the debutant category there are our graduates:

OLGA KŁYSZEWICZ, graduate of the Cinematography and TV Production Department Her animated film WE ARE NOT THERE TOMORROW premiered in the prestigious La Cinef section of the Cannes International Film Festival and was also screened at festivals in Italy, Slovakia, ANIMATOR in Poznań and Etiuda&Anima in Kraków. It also joined the Lighthouse curatorial section of the T-Port platform.

KAROLINA KOWALSKA, graduate of the Acting Department She played memorable roles in MARY PAGE MARLOWE by Tracy Letts, directed by Adam Orzechowski, GOD COUNTED DAYS by Konrad Hetel, directed by Radek Stępień, and in 115th BOB DYLAN'S DREAM by Wojciech Kościelniak. Her performance was appreciated at last year's Festival of Theatre Schools in Łódź where she won statuettes in three categories: Jury Award for Best Actress, "The Most Thrilling Actress" Audience Award and the "Charismatic Actor/Actress" Łódź Journalists' Award. Currently, an actress of the Wybrzeże Theatre in Gdańsk.

MACIEJ JANKOWSKI, graduate of the Film and TV Directing Department His graduation film FRUITS AND VEGETABLES was included in the Future Frames programme of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and Film School Fest Munich. The film was appreciated by the YUGO BAFTA Student Awards and shortlisted by the festival as the only Polish film. Maciej Jankowski's short film triumphed at the Torino Underground Cinefest in Italy where it received the Best Short Film Award. And in Poland it won the Solanin Film Festival Award and the Camera Action Festival Award.
