The famous film producer who produced, among others, "Chariots of Fire", "The Killing Fields" and "The Mission", will meet students of our School.
David Puttnam accepted our invitation and will soon visit the School.
He is one of the greatest film producers having produced films including "Chariots of Fire" (dir. Hugh Hudson, 1981), "Midnight Express" (dir. Alan Parker, 1978), "The Killing Fields" (dir. Roland Joffé, 1984), or "The Mission" (dir. Roland Joffé, 1986 ) won 10 Oscars (including Best Film, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Best Music) and received 17 nominations for this award. In the 1980s, Puttnam was the head of Columbia Pictures.
The producer will meet the students of the School. During the meeting he will talk about his career, artistic path and cooperation with outstanding filmmakers.
David Puttnam will also conduct a master class on the role of music in his films.
Before the meeting, students will have the opportunity to take part in the screenings of films produced by Puttnam - "Chariots of Fire", "The Killing Fields" and "The Mission".
Both the screenings, the meeting and the master class are closed.
