POLAND - UKRAINE - BELARUS
We support and invite documentary filmmakers from Central and Eastern Europe, especially from Ukraine and Belarus. We want to create new opportunities for cooperation between female filmmakers involved in socially engaged documentary filmmaking in Europe by: exchanging experiences, gaining practical knowledge, increasing the number of professional contacts, building a network of mutual support. Through the organization of the HER Docs Forum, we wish to express solidarity with filmmakers from Poland's neighbouring countries who, due to the political situation in their countries, found themselves in Poland, often cut off from their network of professional contacts, support channels, access to financing or even film equipment itself.
