The festival organizers sent an invitation to Dawid Bodzak and his film which said: "We are very impressed by the film. It is an outstanding work which develops human relationships through mystery and inherent tension coming from the dialogues. The amazing tempo of the film, building a powerful atmosphere, really captivated us. Visually KROKODYL is an audacious, powerful trip shot on film contrasting with digital images. This is a carefully crafted neo-giallo that we enjoyed from the first until the last image and sound”.

THE CROCODILE is a fiction diploma film of a Lodz Film School directing graduate, Dawid Bodzak. It is a short 'neo-giallo' film about the need to fulfil hidden desires which bursts the world of the characters from the inside. The film had its world premiere during the prestigious Semaine de la Critique Section, i.e. Film Criticism Week, of this year's Cannes Film Festival.

Competition screenings of the film THE CROCODILE during the Seminci festival are scheduled for 21 and 22, October.
