SUCH MIRACLES DO HAPPEN, dir. Barbara Rupik, and THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THE FOREST, dir. Szymon Ruczyński are in the World Animation Competition at the Leeds International Film Festival.

The Leeds International Film Festival is held from 3 to 19, November.

The Leeds IFF is the largest film event in England, outside of London. Organized since 1987, it is one of the most important festivals in Europe promoting British and European cinema. Films screened at the festival acquire eligibility to compete for the Oscar, BAFTA and BIFA awards.

In the World Animation Competition section there are two of our student animated films. Moreover, the films screened in this section are eligible to compete for the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Oscar Awards!
