The outstanding actor will meet acting students during Łukasz Maciejewski’s class.

The meeting will take place next week and will be a closed event.

Robert Więckiewicz is one of the most outstanding Polish film and theatre actors. He graduated from acting at the Wrocław Branch of the Krakow Academy of Theatre Arts. During the 11th Festival of Theatre Schools organized by the Lodz Film School, he received a special mention for the role of Time in the play THE WINTER’S TALE by William Shakespeare, directed by Bogusław Kierc. He was an actor of the Polish Theatre in Poznań, the Rozmaitości Theatre in Warsaw, and also worked with the Montownia Theatre, the National Theatre and Krystyna Janda's Polonia Theatre.

He is a film actor appreciated by critics and audiences. Robert Więckiewicz is a several-time winner of the Eagle - Polish Film Award, for his roles in the films: EVERYTHING WILL BE WELL by Tomasz Wiszniewski, HOW MUCH DOES THE TROJAN HORSE WEIGHT? Juliusz Machulski, ROZYCZKA by Jan Kidawa-Błoński, IN THE DARK by Agnieszka Holland and THE HIDDEN GAME by Łukasz Kośmicki. He is especially remembered for his excellent roles in Wojciech Smarzowski's films - BAD HOUSE, POD MOCNYM ANIOŁEM, CLERGY and WESEלE, Marek Koterski's film BABY SĄ JAKIEŚ INNE, and the role of WAŁĘSA in Andrzej Wajda's film WAŁĘSA. MAN FROM HOPE. Robert Więckiewicz appeared aa a guest-actor in the diploma film of our acting students, THE CLOWNS, directed by Gabriela Muskała.

Robert Więckiewicz will come at the invitation of Łukasz Maciejewski, a lecturer at our Acting Department and an outstanding film and theatre critic.
