The honorary distinction of the ŁÓDZKIE EUREKA statuette is awarded by the Council for Higher Education and Science under the Mayor of Łódź for outstanding scientific, artistic and technical achievements, recognized internationally or nationally.

Professor Izabela Łapińska, lecturer and Dean's Representative for science and artistic creation at the Faculty of Film Art Organization, received a distinction in the Art category.

SKIN is a photographic project and a monographic book, awarded internationally many times.
The book has recently been added to the library collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art New York.

Moreover, in the Art category, our graduate of animated film and special effects, Dr. Izumi Yoshida, was also awarded for the film MOST.
