FREEDOM is a joint exhibition of the Film Art Organization Dept. of the Lodz Film School and the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Lodz Polytechnic. Exhibition opening - 5, June.

"Freedom is liberation, freeing yourself from what limits you, closes you, keeps you where it does not feel good for you.
We fight for freedom, we want to free ourselves from everything that does not allow us to breathe. Sometimes, we impose bonds on ourselves, we struggle with fear, the prompts of evil. Freedom is cleansing, joy, peace of heart, independence.
Photography can touch personal, spatial and social freedom and the freedom of nations. It exposes our enslavements, revealing everything that the world imposes on us and everything that we run away from.
Nature breaks free from the grip of architecture, just as light frees itself from the grip of darkness. The photographs show the liberation of these two elements as an analogy of social liberation from trauma.”
