Our students among the winners. The fiction student film LIOSZA dir. Miłosz Sawicki wins the Grand Prix, the animated film OWIECZNOŚĆ dir. Natan Lidia Bohdanowicz also wins a prize, and that’s not all

Our students are among the winners of this year's jubilee edition of the Prof. Henryk Kluba National Independent Film Competition in Konin.

The jury consisting of: Krzysztof Majchrzak – chairman, Małgorzata Imielska, Aga Woszczyńska, Piotr Dumała and Łukasz Maciejewski, having watched 53 films, decided to award the following prizes and special mentions:

* STUDENT FILM category:
Grand Prix - film LIOSZA directed by Miłosz Sawicki (film and tv directing student)
5000 PLN – the award sponsored by the Waste Utilization Plant in Konin

Award for the film OWIECZNOŚĆ directed by Natan Lidia Bohdanowicz (animated film and special effects student)
2000 PLN – the award sponsored by the Polish Film Institute

* INDEPENDENT FILM category:

Special Mention for the film SISTER OF MINE (produced by Munk Studio) directed by Mariusz Rusiński (film and TV directing student) 500 PLN – funded by the District Office in Konin

At the end of the festival, nominations for Jan Machulski awards were presented, which include:

*Best Cinematography: Zuzanna Zachara-Hassairi, cinematography graduate, film LIOSZA
*Best Editing: Barbara Fronc, film editing graduate and Lodz Film School employee, film CALLS
*Best Actor: Oleksij Morozov, film LIOSZA
*Best Animated Film: Natan Lidia Bohdanowicz, film OWIECZNOŚĆ
