This Sunday (9, June, 2024, at 6 p.m.) MSK: Polesie - Art Centre will become a place where fashion meets history, art meets heritage, and the present meets the past.

We invite you to a unique show of the Vis Vitalis collection, in which each outfit takes you to different dimensions of time and emotions. Vis Vitalis – a collection created in 2023 as part of a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, is a story about strength, inspiration and passion.

Two colours - deep green and passionate red embody the stories of eight extraordinary women who changed the world forever with their actions.
Green - Earth, materiality, objects.
Red - Spirituality, love, feelings, spiritual journeys.

Each outfit is a tribute to icons such as:
* Pola Negri - Queen of the silver screen
* Tamara Łempicka – Master of art deco
* Halina Konopacka - The first lady of Polish sport
* Janina Lewandowska - Aviation heroine
* Irena Iłłakowiczowa - Intelligence agent
* Maria Skłodowska-Curie - Science genius
* Izabela nee Flemming Czartoryska - Duchess of the collection
* Regina Salomea nee Rusiecka Pilsztynowa - Pioneer of medicine

Each outfit is supported by a study of the character and her history, refers to the heroine's life and tells the story of the character in an unconventional way. The show will be directed by Małgorzata Flegel, a lecturer at the Acting Department, and Patrycja Sikora, a student of the same faculty, will take part.
