Let us remind you - as part of the cooperation between our School and NETFLIX, a development programme for series was created. Screenwriting, production and directing students are involved in the programme. Students of these fields have created teams of three people in which they work on the development of their TV series projects.

On 12, July, our guests were representatives of the Polish branch of NETFLIX - Katarzyna Śliwińska and Tomasz Dąbrowski. They listened to initial project presentations prepared by five teams participating in the project. They pointed out their strengths as well as those elements of the presentation which need being worked on before the final October presentation. It was a kind of briefing before the holidays - time for students to work on projects independently, and, if necessary, for consultations with screenwriting lecturers. In September, students will have the opportunity to participate in yet another workshop in the series - workshops with Naomi Levari, a recognized producer, screenplay consultant and mentor of many development programmes, who works in various parts of the world. In October - the grand finale - we will learn about the series projects that students of our School have been working on over the last year.

Projects are developed under the supervision of screenwriting lecturers: Kacper Wysocki and Bartosz Staszczyszyn, Arkadiusz Antosz, as well as Anna Pachnicka, Dean and lecturer of the Film Art Organization Dept.; Marcin Malatyński, Head International Relations and our school lecturer; Leszek Dawid, Vice-Dean and lecturer at the Film and Television Directing Dept., and Andrzej Mellin, Head of Screenwriting at the Film and Television Directing Dept. As part of cooperation with NETFLIX, students have the opportunity to participate in a series of workshops with TV series industry specialists recommended by the platform.
