ARTUR KUJAWA, acting student, and SZYMON RUCZYŃSKI, animated film and special effects student, are nominated for the Oars of Culture.
The Oars of Culture is an award from "Gazeta Wyborcza" and Monopolis, the aim of which is to promote young creators.
This year, the fifth gala will be held. Two of our students are nominated for this year's edition:
ARTUR KUJAWA Born in 1999. Fifth-year student of the Acting Department of the Lodz Film School. He began his acting career in Włocławek, where he graduated from the music school in the percussion department. (…) At the 42nd Festival of Theatre Schools in Łódź, he won the recognition of both the jury and the audience. He was honoured with the Audience Award for the "most thrilling actor" and the 1st Acting Award for the roles of Al and Nelson in the play "Każdemu coś się śni" directed by Małgorzata Bogajewska and for the role of Helge in the play "Festen" directed by Remigiusz Brzyk. SZYMON RUCZYŃSKI Born in 2000. Fifth-year student of Animated Film and Special Effects at the Lodz Film School. He comes from Białowieża in Podlasie.
