Films by our students and graduates are in the programme of the 40th International Warsaw Film Festival.

The jubilee, 40th edition of the Warsaw International Film Festival runs from 11 to 20, October. It is one of the oldest, highly regarded festivals in Poland. Existing since 1985, in 2009 it entered the elite group of events accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (www.fiapf.org) as international competition film festivals – alongside festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin, and Locarno.

- We try to make sure that our viewers have access to the newest and most interesting films as soon as possible, so that they can follow the latest trends in world cinema. WFF viewers - as the first in Poland – used to be able to get to know American independent cinema, Asian, Latin American, Iranian, Russian and Romanian cinema. Time has always been an important element, capturing the moment of greatest success, rise, apogee - writes Stefan Laudyn, director of the Warsaw Film Festival.
