Since its first edition in 2007, the OFFELIADA Film Festival has pursued its primary goal: popularizing the achievements of young Polish off-cinema – which is served by the Main Competition for the Offelia statuette – and promoting broadly understood independent culture, which is served by numerous meetings with invited creators, exhibitions, workshops, theatre shows and a number of other artistic events.

This year, the festiwal runs from 6 to 10, November in Gniezno.

In the Main Competition, viewers will see 2 fiction films from the Lodz Film School:

PROSTO Z ZACHODU (STRAIGHT FROM THE WEST), dir. Mikołaj Piszczan
DANCING IN THE CORNER, dir. Jan Bujnowski (prod. INDEKS Film Studio)
as well as:
SISTER OF MINE dir. Mariusz Rusiński (documentary by a directing student, prod. Munk Studio)

plus films by our graduates and lecturers.
