The 48th Cinanima International Animated Film Festival runs from 8 to 17, November in Espinho, Portugal.

Since its first edition in 1976, the aim of the event has been to promote the animated art of cinema. The event has become a pioneering element of culture which has decentralized the cultural life of Portugal and has gained international recognition, although it does not take place in the most famous places in Portugal, such as Lisbon or Porto. The festival has the status of an event participation in which gives the films legibility for the Oscar Awards.
