Sara Lityńska and Magdalena Sękiewicz, students of the Acting Department of our School, will sing during the Rock&Chanson Festival "Cologne – Wrocław – Paris".
The event is organized by the Polish-German Cultural Association "Polonica". The 32nd edition of the Rock & Chanson Festival "Cologne-Wroclaw-Paris" takes place from 29 to 30, November in the concert hall of the Cologne Porz district town hall.
Fourth-year students of our Acting Department, Sara Lityńska and Magdalena Sękiewicz, will take part in the "Young Talents" competition during which two artists from France, Poland and Germany will compete for the "Polonica" statuette funded by the Polish-German Cultural Association "Polonica". The participants will be assessed by an international jury and by the audience who award their own independent prize.
Sara Lityńska will present the songs:
"Before the day breaks", text: Agnieszka Osiecka, music: Krzysztof Komeda
"Song Polly", text: Bertolt Brecht, music: Kurt Weil
Magdalena Sękiewicz will sing the following:
"Prayer/Piroman", text: Bogdan Loebl/The Tiger Lillies, music: Tadeusz Nalepa/The Tiger Lillies
"Surabaya-Johnny, text: Bertolt Brecht, music: Kurt Weil
