The 26th Madurai International Documentary and Short Film Festival runs from 6 to 10, December.

Madurai festival is one of India's oldest documentary film festivals. It is an event which focuses on inclusiveness, democracy and independence, open to audiences and artists from all parts of the world. In the international documentary competition we will show the film DEBTORS directed by Andrzej Danis.

Film synopsis: Starting with a personal story, we try to show the scale of the alimony problem in Poland. By combining documentary and fiction forms, we tell about a phenomenon which connects people who are seemingly unrelated. At the same time, it divides those who were supposed to share their lives.
