It was a day organized under the banner of socially engaged cinema, an initiative prepared by the Student Council. On December 2, screenings, a lecture and a discussion took place at the School Cinema

Students attended a lecture entitled "Surviving Oppression" by Baha Hilo, a Palestinian sociologist who works with many humanitarian organizations.

Two films were presented during the event:

* ISRAELISM (imdb.com) dir. Erin Axelman, Sam Eilertsen (production: Tikkun Olam Productions)
* AN ORANGE FROM JAFFA dir. Mohammed Almughanni (our graduate; production: Lumisenta Foundation (Patryk Sielecki), INDEKS Film Studio (Marcin Malatyński), Synecdoche (David Frenkel)

The film was made in cooperation with Gaza Films, War on Screen, Centre National de la Cinematographie, Arte France and Palestinian Cultural Fund.

The screening was followed by a panel discussion with the guests, Baha Hilo, Mohammed Almughanni, and Erin Axelman (online).

The event was organized by: Nadim Suleiman, Kinga Nguyen, Julia Pietrasik and Nicolás Reza, with the support of: Ebru Avci, Martyna Kędzior and Rui Gu.
