We invite you to the audiovisual concert by Bartłomiej Talaga and Marcin Korbus entitled "Fluctus Fidelity" on December 14 at 6:00 p.m. which will take place as part of the RENDER_PRESS event.
RENDER_PRESS is a three-day series of meetings devoted to independent publishing houses, zines, ephemera, art and conceptual books, and audio-visual experiments. The event will run from 13 to 15, December (Sunday).
From 14, December, the Publishers' Fair will feature independent publications by photography students and graduates: zines, photobooks, books, etc.
On Saturday, we invite you to the audiovisual concert SOUND AND IMAGE – A/V, during which our representatives from the Department of Photography: lecturer Bartłomiej Talaga and student Marcin Korbus will present "Fluctus Fidelity".
This audiovisual event combines experiment, sound art with the exploration of audiovisual synesthesia. Artists, using innovative technologies and a multidisciplinary approach, create immersive experiences, where the boundaries between hearing and seeing are blurred. Images resonate like sounds, opening new perspectives in perception.

At the Publishers' Fair, we recommend visiting the stand of the Nasze Nagrania publishing house, where the audio cassette "Impulse Response / Depoisoning the Well" by Bartłomiej Talaga (Lodz Film School Publishing House / Nasze Nagrania) will be available.
The recording on this tape is a journey through mysterious and hidden paths of personal stories – an underground life leading to locked memories. In the process of cleansing, we will not learn new facts which allow us to put the past together like a puzzle. Following the falling stone to the bottom of the well with our eyes, we will see our reflection from a different perspective and hear a multiplied voice. The echo received with calmness, mindfulness and commitment will allow the body to understand and give a signal that matters have been cleansed.
The cassette has been released as part of the activities and exhibition "Czas Wywołania" at the Alfred Biedermann Palace as part of the 2024 Photofestival (programme „the city”) - an intervention in the Andrzej Różycki Photographic Archive, in cooperation with the University of Lodz and thanks to the support of the Lodz Film School.
