An outstanding actress, graduate and long-time lecturer at the Acting Department of our School passed away at the age of 86.

Mirosława Marcheluk created many outstanding acting roles. In Filip Bajon's "Wahadełko" she played Aniela. For this role she received the Best Actress Award at the Polish Film Festival in Gdańsk. She also starred in other films by Filip Bajon – "Magnat" (1986), "Bal na dworcu w Koluszki" (1989) and "Przedwiośnie" (2001), in films by Juliusz Machulski – a memorable role in "Seksmisja", by Feliks Falk – "Wodzirej" (1977), "Bohater roku" (1986), by Robert Gliński – "Niedzielne igraszki" (1983), by Grzegorz Królikiewicz – "Zabicie ciotki" (1984), "Sąsiady" (2014), by Andrzej Barański – "Kawalerskie życie na obczyźnie" (1992), by Barbara Sass – "Pokuszenie" (1995), and by Michał Rosa – "Rysa" (2008).

She also played in television series, including "Ucieczka z miejsce ukochanych" (1987), "Komediantka" (1987), "Kanclerz" (1989), and "Belfer III" (2023) as well as in the television theatre.

She played at the Teatr Ziemi Opolskiej, Teatr 7.15, Teatr S. Jaracza and Teatr Nowy im. K. Dejmka in Łódź. In the years 1990-1993 she was the director of Teatr Nowy in Łódź.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to this talented actress, graduate and lecturer of our School.
