We are pleased to announce that the Leon Schiller National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź has received funding from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for the implementation of the project entitled DIGITALIZATION OF THE WORKS OF JANUSZ MAJEWSKI, as part of the programme "Social responsibility of science II, module - Support for scientific libraries".

As part of the project, we will scan and make available in the Film Screenplay Library run by the School (Cybra - Łódź Regional Digital Library) screenplays and scripts from the Janusz Majewski Archive donated to the School by the director's family. The screenplays made available include those filmed by Janusz Majewski, those written by him for other directors, as well as screenplays which were ultimately not used. The project also includes digitization and making available on the " filmpolski.pl - Online Polish Film Database " stills and production photos from Janusz Majewski's films, also those coming from his archive. The publication of these materials will enrich knowledge about the works of this outstanding filmmaker and will allow for film studies of his work.
