On 27, March, the Conference "Digitization of photographic and audiovisual materials" will be held. Honorary patronage by: the Marshal of the Mazovian Voivodeship and the Lodz Film School Rector.
We invite you to participate free of charge in the conference "From Local Heritage to Global Context: Digitization of Photographic and Audiovisual Materials", which will be held on March 27, 2025 on the initiative of the Archeology of Photography Foundation.
This will be a unique opportunity to learn about the latest digitization methods which allow for the protection and reinterpretation of photographic and audiovisual heritage. During the conference, we will discuss key issues related to the preservation of the cultural heritage of Mazovia, which can inspire actions for the digitization and protection of local resources. The event will also be an opportunity to integrate specialists, scientists, museum professionals and enthusiasts, which will create a unique space for exchanging experience. Thanks to expert lectures, participants will have the opportunity to develop specific skills in the field of digitization and protection of collections.
Together we will present how modern technologies support the processes of archiving as well as sharing and popularizing cultural materials. A special lecture will be devoted to the Lodz Film School Archive.
The conference is free and open to all interested parties! To participate, simply show up on the day of the event – no prior registration is necessary.
The conference is held under the honorary patronage of the Marshal of the Mazovian Voivodeship and Her Magnificence, the Rector of the Film School in Łódź.
