An outdoor party gets out of hand. Young people kill their friend. The boy showed signs of mental disorders; he was one of the last in the hierarchy of the group of friends.

A web of lies and manipulation begins aimed at covering up the incident. However, the group's situation worsens with each new lie. A ticking bomb is blowing the group apart from the inside.

The characters entering adulthood are subjected to a specific experiment. Their maturation process is drastically accelerated, with each passing hour the carefree and safe shales of childhood fall away; concepts such as responsibility, awareness, maturity, humanity, empathy, morality swell. In a secluded place, like the children in Golding's "Lord of the Flies", the characters must face the consequences of their own actions and decisions on their own. There are no adults, no parents, no power, no police, no courts, no authorities, no God. In a hideout at the interface of civilization and ruthless nature, between the world of humans and animals, entangled in DNA chains, the participants of this journey will experience a unique and extreme situation. Grotesque, absurd, funny and terrifying. Collective fear, shame and stress will set the limits of their mental endurance.

In an extreme situation, should you think like a human being or behave like an animal? Run away? Hide or fight? How do you talk about your emotions when you don't understand them yet, when you can't talk about them or name them correctly? Will there be extenuating circumstances?
Nothing in their lives will ever be the same again. Innocence lost.

Dennis Kelly's play is required reading in British schools. Written in a specific, "immature" language and constructed like a laboratory experiment, it is a great starting point for showing on stage the simplest, and therefore the most difficult emotions, both in the collective and individual dimension.
