It's time to sum up the film presentation and announce the winners of the 18th Lodz Film School Film Festival ŁODZIĄ PO WIŚLE.

We’ve sailed to the final!

This year's edition will be crowned with prizes funded by our partners.

And we are already inviting you to the next edition next year, perhaps in a more spring-like version... Because young cinema blooms beautifully in spring!

Here are the winners:

AWARDS of the Polish Filmmakers Association in the amount of PLN 3,000.00:

* for the best fiction film at the 18th Lodz Film School Film Festival ŁODZIĄ PO WIŚLE
for Michał Edelman, director of the film SERWIS.
Jury statement: for a brilliantly told story and noticeable artistry, for the dynamic and original language of storytelling, cinematography, editing and direction, for the rare ability to tell a credible and painful story about contemporary heroes living on the edge.

* for the best documentary film at the 18th Lodz Film School Film Festival ŁODZIĄ PO WIŚLE
for Maciej Herzog, director of the film NIE MÓW NA MNIE KASIA.
Jury statement: for the sensitivity and cinematic presentation of a moving portrait of an extraordinary woman who, despite the difficulties she encounters in life, is a beautiful person.

* for the best animated film at the 18th Lodz Film School Film Festival ŁODZIĄ PO WIŚLE
for Agnieszka Popińska, director of the film MOJA MAMA.
Jury statement: for creating a tender and funny portrait of a mother of six children who loves life and is loved in return, for a story about openness and closeness passed on to children.

The awards were presented by Grzegorz Łoszewski, President of the Polish Filmmakers Association.

ATM Group AWARD in the form of a 5-day paid internship on the set of a jointly selected ATM Group production for Tymoteusz Kałużewski, director of the film ŁADUNEK.
Jury statement: for sensing the viewer, for the attentiveness towards the viewer, which was visible in the choice of the contemporary topic, dynamic editing, plot twists and punch lines.

The award was presented by Andrzej Muszyński, President of the ATM Group.

AWARD from the post-production company BLACK PHOTON in the form of 20 hours of colour correction with a colourist for Nikodem Marek, cinematographer for the film SERWIS, directed by Michał Edelman.

The award was presented by Kamil Rutkowski, CEO of Black Photon, and Paweł Edelman, Dean of the Faculty of Cinematography and Television Production at the Lodz Film School.

AWARD of the post-production company EDITORIUM "WSPÓLNE CĘCIE" in the form of a paid internship in editing a feature film or series produced at EDITORIUM for Helena Wieczorek, editor of the film COMME DES COWBOYS, directed by Julia Sadowska.

The award was presented by Lech Starzyński, President of the Management Board of Editorium, and Katarzyna Trybek.

Among the winners were also the filmmakers of future graduation film projects, which will receive co-production support from the Documentary and Feature Film Studio.

The awards were presented by Zbigniew Domagalski, Director of WFDiF.

In connection with the Year of Wojciech Jerzy Has, the winners of the "POŻEGNANIA" competition for a screenplay inspired by the work and didactic methods of Prof. W. J. Has were selected:

15 OSOBA, authors Maciej Herzog and Franciszek Owczarek
SET, author Sebastian Szczygieł
ONE NIGHT STAND, author Alicja Czepli
ESCAPE ROOM, authors Marcin Mielczarek and Błażej Pyrka
CZY TAM JEST CIEMNO, authors Ewa Japola and Franciszek Stokłosa

The awards were presented by Leszek Dawid, Dean of the Faculty of Film and Television Directing at the Lodz Film School.
