"A lot of people think that animation equals cartoons for children. They could not be more wrong! An absolute proof of that is Animocje - a film festival focused on animated cinema that is ambitious and searches for its own artistic expression forms. The priority of our programme is to present daring, surprising and innovative solutions, outstanding implementations of traditional techniques and interesting subjects which can evoke a variety of emotions." –write the festival organizers.

The 14th Festival runs in Bydgoszcz from 8 to 13, April.

* The Main Competition, which presents animations from all over the world, includes:

* In the Film Competition for Children and Youth 15+ our student’s film:
MY MUM dir. Agnieszka Popińska
and the film by our lecturer POTATOES dir. Marcin Podolec.

* In the Play-off competition (the screening in which the film with the highest number of audience votes will enter the International Competition) the student film: WARM AND COLD dir. Jakub Siedlecki
