On 3, May, during the Awards Gala of the 18th Mastercard OFF CAMERA International Independent Cinema Festival, the KIPA (National Chamber of Audiovisual Producers) Award for Best Producer’s Debut will be presented for the 11th time.

This prestigious award goes to producers who made their first or second feature-length film in 2024 which constituted a significant step in their career. This year, the main prize is worth PLN 50,000, the honourable mention PLN 10,000 funded in partnership by the Polish Film Institute.

32 films were submitted to the competition, and a total of 7 producers received nominations.

Among them are our graduates of the Film Art Organization Dept:

Patryk Sielecki for production of the film LAS
Maria Leźnicka and Marcin Kupiecki for production of the film SEZONY

The winner will be selected by a jury composed of film industry experts: Irena Strzałkowska, Marta Galińska-Łukaszewicz, Mariusz Włodarski, Anna Hardasiewicz, Weronika Czołnowska, Joanna Tatko.

The coordinator of this year's award is Olek Złotorawski, Vice-Chairman of the Young Producers Section of KIPA.
