At the Department of Film and Television Directing, we are enrolling for a long-awaited new specialization!

Sound directing in audiovisual forms aims to educate highly qualified specialists - sound directors, who during their studies will gain knowledge and skills in the field of music and film arts, as well as techniques and technologies necessary to work at every stage of film production and other forms of audiovisual communication. During your studies, you will learn, among other things, how to record, edit and create sounds, how to use sound and music to support the dramaturgy and emotional course of the audiovisual message, what the film production process looks like and how to cooperate with other departments throughout the entire production process.

Full-time BA studies in the specialization of sound director are three years long and end with obtaining a bachelor's title. Their completion entitles you to undertake MA studies in the fields of sound direction, sound design and related ones.

If you have good hearing, a sense of rhythm, you can easily remember song melodies, you can play an instrument, like to sing or dance, you are interested in film and broadly understood audiovisual arts - this can be a direction for you!
