The jury of the short film competition at the 44th Istanbul FF awarded Jan Bujnowski's film DANCING IN THE CORNER.
This is another foreign award for our directing graduate and PhD student of the Doctoral School - Jan Bujnowski, who leaves the Turkish festival with the Best Short Film Award.
Istanbul Film Festival was founded in 1983, initially as a film review, and later developed into a major film event with national and international competitions. The main prize of the festival is the Golden Tulip statuette.
Jan Bujnowski’s short film, produced at the INDEKS Film Studio operating at the School, has already won several international awards, including: Rail d’Or in the Semaine de la Critique section of the Cannes IFF, Best Short Film at the Les Arcs Film Festival, as well as distinctions in Poland.
Good luck at next festivals!
