The European Film Academy has announced the nominees and winners of this year's first European Film Awards. Amongst them there are five nominees in the following categories: European Film, European Director (Paweł Pawlikowski), European Screenwriter (Paweł Pawlikowski and Rebecca Lenkiewicz), European actress (Agata Kulesza and Agata Trzebuchowska) - all of them involved in making the film "Ida".

On 8 November, the European Film Academy granted the Carlo Di Palm Award for best photography to Łukasz Żal and Ryszard Lenczewski, directors of photography of Paweł Pawlikowski's film "Ida".
