The Lodz Film School and the Prague FAMU are the Training the Trainers workshop organizers. Mary Kate O'Flanagan, a screenwriting specialist and lecturer, has already started her lectures which will take two days. The first lectures were devoted to the process of building suspense in a film and keeping it up. The rest of the lectures will deal with creating characters and film narration development.

MIDPOINT is an international development program organized by the Czech Film School FAMU. It offers a series of film and television workshops aiming at creative cooperation between a screenwriter, a director and a producer. One of the workshops, Training the Trainers devoted to work with scripts, will be organized by the Lodz Film School in Lodz from 26 to 30 November, with support of the Polish Film Art Institute (PISF). The workshop will be run by two experienced script specialists and screenwriting teachers: Martin Daniel and Mary Kate O'Flanagan.
