A documentary "Zawsze młody" directed by Robin Lipo, Lodz Film School student, has won the 9. EarlyBirds Film Festival in Sofia.
A documentary film "Zawsze młody" ("Navzdymlady") directed by Robin Lipo, Lodz Film School student, with photography of Clemence Thurninger (artistic supervision: Maria Zmarz-Koczanowicz), has won the best documentary prize at the 9. EarlyBirds Film Festival (27 Nov. - 2 Dec.) in Sofia (Bulgaria).
The film shows the phenomenon of death in the era of the Internet. Lukas Dobsik, a young man who dies tragically in an accident, remains alive on social network. Every year app. 200,000 face book users die and their profiles remain on the net. There are also virtual cementeries with grave stones, candles, and bunches of flowers.
In September the film "Zawsze młody" won the main prize for the best documentary at the Apolonia Film Festival in Albania.
