Kamil Jaworek and Krzysztof Szafraniec, 5th year students, are working on a game prototype and a film "Cracov 1500", for which they received a scholarship from the Lodz Marshal.
Krzysztof
Szafraniec: - We are working on an animated film and a music game. We are not
computer science specialists so we invited for co-operation some 3rd
year students from the Lodz Polytechnic. Twelve students came for the first
meeting - their involvement in our
project can be treated as their semester pass.

Kamil Jaworek: - We assume that the game prototype for mobile devices will be ready in March. We are providing the storyline, animation, direction and art direction. At the Lodz Film School we have facilities for work, computers and others, so computer programmers are essential to supervise the work.

The two animators are working with the composer Szymon Szewczyk, who is providing music for the game prototype. The work on the project is being coordinated by Natalia Kwiatkowska, the 5th year production organization student. The music score in the prototype evolves around the animation motifs and characters i.e. film crew members who run an investigation in the alternative Cracow from the Middle Ages, where weapons have been substituted by music. - says Kamil Jaworek. – In the game we assume the role of a young architect who is involved in some scandal. There is still a lot of work ahead of us, but we are learning a lot and it is getting better.
